This service has become a tradition in the community. Each spring the chorus combined with the boys’ and girls’glee clubs presents an operatic production. This displays the various singing and dancing talent of individual members and culminates the serious study given to voice production. Membership consists of each class president, two additional members from each of the senior and junior classes and one additional member from each of sophomore and freshman classes. This body represents the students in school govern- ment and has the authority for general supervision of all activities of the school. This year the Council sponsored monthly dances, a freshman «get-acquainted party, football home-coming, lyceum course, carnival, the Christmas activities and assembly programs.
