Gbur New 'QIJIIIP ln the spring of 1919 bonds to the value of S163 000 w ere xoted to build a new 1-li h School building qince labor and materials were both hard to secure even when the fall of 1920 came the new buildin was not ready for occu pancy Vve did enter it however and were just becomin accustomed to work to the accompaniment of saws and hammers when on Armistice Day the south win of the building was almost totally destroyed by fire, The work of repairin has gone rapidly forward and next year will see our student-body in one of the most commodious school buildings of the state. Additional bonds have been yoted and when the building is completed its value will be S250 000. Besides the re ular well lighted and well located recitation rooms of which any good hi h school can boast we have an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,258 a clock system valued at 31.200, a library with furniture amounting., to Sl 700, a ymnasium with S3 000 worth of apparatus, and Commercial, Science Xlanual Training, 'ind Home Economics depart- ments that will compare favorably with those in the best schools in Oklahoma.
