KVA Title for Varsity Girls The Varsity Girls enjoyed a very successful season this year by capturing the KVA crown with a 10 win, 2 loss record. Though success was due to a total team effort, much could be attributed to Seniors Paula Jones, Kim McDowell, Tracy McNeil, Lynn Stull and Kim PUarski, whose gallant efforts will be missed next year. Lynn Stull was voted Most Valuable Player by her teammates and Tracy McNeil was voted Most Improved Player. Lynn Stull and Kim McDowell were selected to the KVA All Star Team by the coaches, while Paula Jones and Tracy McNeil received Honorable Mention awards. Besides being chosen to the KVA All Star Team. Kim McDowell was the first Girls Basketball player from Paw Paw to be chosen to the Associated Press All-State Team. Kim also set a new school record this year for the most points scored in one game with 37.
