A note about the 1978 WAPPAW — You'll be seeing double when you reach the Activities and Sports sections. This was done purposely. Until 1977 the WAPPAW was a spring-delivery yearbook, which meant that spring activities and sports did not appear until the following year's book. Beginning with this edition, the WAPPAW is a summer-delivery yearbook, which means that spring events appear in the current year's book. In order to provide continuous coverage of the events that have occurred at Paw Paw High School during this transition, spring activities and sports of both 1977 and 1978 are included in this enlarged book.
