DEDICA TION Because she has worked for and with us, because she has given so generously of her time and wisdom— words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for this woman. She has given her past twenty years to the Paw Paw school system. She was a former cheerleading sponsor, student council advisor, math teacher, and guidance counselor. She received her college education at the University of Illinois, Wayne State University, and Northern Illinois University. In appreciation for such devoted service to the students of Paw Paw High School, the yearbook staff proudly dedicates the 1970 Wappaw to Miss Ruth Boot. In her twenty years at Paw Paw, Miss Boot has helped many students plan their educational and occupational futures. Here she is seen with Debbie Lachman.

BOARD OF EDUCATION This year's Board of Education was presided over by President, Robert Abrams; Treasurer, Fred Pugsley; Secretary, John O'Leary; and Trustee, Jane Kimmel. The primary objective of the board is to act as overseer for the activities of the administration and the student body.
