She has given her past twenty years to the Paw Paw school system. She was a former cheerleading sponsor, student council advisor, math teacher, and guidance counselor. She received her college education at the University of Illinois, Wayne State University, and Northern Illinois University. In appreciation for such devoted service to the students of Paw Paw High School, the yearbook staff proudly dedicates the 1970 Wappaw to Miss Ruth Boot. In her twenty years at Paw Paw, Miss Boot has helped many students plan their educational and occupational futures. Here she is seen with Debbie Lachman.
