PP 39 Plainwell - 22 Coach Falan appreciated the effort put forth by this year's freshmen, and hopes in the future PP 37 Vicksburg - 24 that Paw Paw will someday be represented by another great runner like Bob Crocker. PP 30 Allegan - 25 Bob Crocker, one of two seniors on the squad, has set five course records. He is undefeated in PP 37 Otsego - 24 dual meet running. Bob won the Class B Cross Country run with the time of 10:08.8, over a PP 28 South Haven - 29 two mile course. The team had an excellent attitude and mainly consisted of freshmen. In tournament play the 'Skins beat Dowagiac and lost to Edwardsburg. The season ended with a 3-14 record. Junior, Ron Labadie won the High Scorer award for his 264 pts. Coach Faian's thinclads capped the year by placing ninth at the Regionals. Bob Crocker set a new school record which doubled as a new league record as he ran the half mile in 1:57. Ron Labadie set a new school record for the low hurdles in a timing of :20,7. Several underclassmen turned in sparkling performances which hint good track fortune in the Redskins’ future. The matches were always closer than the record indicates, however. Seniors Jeffy Miller and Gary Pardike were very strong performers for Coach Hall. GOLF Paw Paw's Varsity Golf Team turned in a winning season as the team recorded nine wins and suffered six defeats. At the State Regionais the duffers placed twelfth in a field of twenty-seven teams. The 1966 Redskin squad set a new school record as they racked up one nine hole score of 161. Senior John Fleming was a consistently low scoring golfer for Coach St. Aubin's squad. COACH ST. They were able to scare every team in die conference. Coach Starring's nine could not get everything to jell for very long diough, as the team slid to a four and eleven record. Senior Jim Moore was named winner of the Charlie Maxwell Baseball Award for 1966. Beautiful Geishas served refreshments while the Flint Hill Singers provided entertainment. The Hitchhikers supplied music to complete the evening. And there was great entertainment from these fellows and their rather gay costumes. The decorations were very well done and here midst the oriental decor many 1966 prommers enjoy the entertainment. A careful look reveals that the class of 1967 made sure that they would be long remembered by the viewers of this book. ... and don't forget the fine dancing enjoyed by all who glided the floor at the only authentic tea house in Paw Paw, home of the Redskins Two of the lovely Geishas who made this a prettier occasion by serving. 123 AND FINALLY, THIS PHASE OF LIFE ENDS • • • Here seniors go through all that nervous business beforehand and make final beach party plans.
