p fix 1 91344540 .--De fi-7 ,kf be 'eu DEDICATION To Mr. Phillip Q. Stumpf, superintendent of the Paulsboro schools, we, the members of the staff, would like to dedicate this 22nd edition of the Pegasus- Mr. Stumpf has served Paulsboro well for 34 years. He started as a history teacher who gave of his time and energy coaching sports. ln 1943 he assumed the responsible position of principal of Paulsboro High School, continuing his interest in the welfare of the students in his care. Mr. Stumpf's faithful service in these two positions was recognized in 1951, when he was made superintendent of the Paulsboro school system. Since then he has worked without ceasing to make the schools of Paulsboro even better than they have been in the past, and to help them meet the challenge of the future. lt saddens us to think that this is the last year Mr. Stumpf will be with us, for he is retiring in June. As we graduate and leave high school behind, he will be a port of our happy memories of Paulsboro. We wish for him the very best that life has to offer. 5
