du Tt seems only yestevday that our senior class entered into this school as I': e::fhx1erx. Yet there is no honor which can trnly meet The merit she deserves. She was felthful to P.F.S. fcr more than n Quarter of n century. Beceuee she has given others so much hejninenn, we are certain thnt the following yeers of her retirement will be filled with joy and Qlainess. He want to thank ycu for every- thing, Mies Fisher. Today we go. The daily intercourse That we have known for years must end, The struggles and the laughter, the triumphs and defe ts Will be but memories, yes, cherished memories That we shall often summon in review. As the moment comes when members of this school we cease to be, Both Joy and Sadness mingle in our thoughts--- Joy that our tasks in school are all complete And wider fields of usefulness await, Regret that the many pleasant fellowships we've known Must end on the Commencement Day. But though the swiftly rolling yenrs shall heap Great drifts of Time between the now and then, In Menory's gallery this place we'l1 keep And oft, though distant far, shall see again. Our paths henceforth shall lie, sac? in its way Divergent from the one we've kept together, Yet shall we reach the common goal of Truth Enlightened by the torch of common good. ix ITP' E Board of Education Nr. Scoots, who had a fondness for nets Kof any kindl kept the Mlntons, as well as Eve Tyler, on their toes. Delores the cook really loved the Minton Family as if they were her Own flesh and blood, but their crazy antics sometimes upset her nnone-too- steadyu nerves and she was forever threatening to quit her job. Poor Mr. Minton was a typical hen-peeked husband but in the end, sees the light and rules the family with an iron- hand. Mrs. Minton was almost a dictator as far as her actions toward her family were concerned. Things really changed, how- ever, when Mrs. M1nton's mother, Mrs. Thornton, came to visit. For a while, she had things mixed up in fine shape, but event- ually everything turned out for the best. Mrs. Simmons, the trained nurse, added a touch of humor to the play as did the Sure-Shot Man. This play had everything from frogs to dogs. ' W , '52 Wg ' H f 1 f, . . l,,f,..ff , xi 'lt ia if WSP' N x Q ,nr ,sg 1, .X r P' +, I5s'.'. X . 5.
