Junior Powderpuff Upset Tradition And Seniors 16-14 Tradition failed to come through in the clutch this year, as the Senior Class of '78 lost the annual Powder Puff game 16-14 to the Junior Class of '79 on October 4. It was the second time in the game's history that the juniors have come out on top. The big gun for the juniors was Theresa Agrippino who accounted for both of the touchdowns while the seniors were lead by Sandy Fieser and Eva Pewitt who each scored a touchdown. It was a close contest throughout, and was decided only on a missed extra point by the seniors after the final tally. The social aspect of the game was considerably brighter. The Powder Puff Ball fSwitch Dancel was a big success, sponsored by the Student Council the Saturday before. Senior Jim Vitale was elected Powder Puff King over his competitor, Junior Jim Anderson. After the game, which draws as large a crowd as varsity football, a standing room only crowd forced Barnaby's Restaurant to keep its doors open an extra two hours to accommodate the mob.
