V , ' '.-.4 k Q, The three short years at Pat- tonville are full of experiences which will long be remembered. There are times of fun and laughter fgames and dancesl, as well as times of anxiety and confusion fthe first day of school and final examsl. They are not always pleasant, but they are always important. They are important because they are happening to each per- son and are playing a big part in the shaping and molding of each individual's personality and future. The Class of '78 has much to remember. Things like continu- ing winning traditions in varsi- ty sports and an Evergreen Homecoming. There are small- er things, though, which often are remembered longer. Play- ing hide-and-seek with a securi- ty guard who has discovered a missing parking permit, talking a friendly sub into letting each of her students get a drink and 5 5... .'--swf I -- . jf. then taking off to McDonald's en masse, counseling at the sixth-grade camps and return- ing with the chicken pox, wait- ing forever for French fries in the cafeteriag learning and de- veloping the fine art of sneak- ing and staying in the library without a pass - as taught by Mr. Allison, taking abuse from fun-loving coaches just for the thrill of victory, taking over the lobby before school, between classes, during lunch, after school, and any other time it might seem appropriate. The list could go on forever, and does in each student's mind. Whatever has happened in anyone's life at PHS during the 1977-'78 school year is unique to this year and will never be repeated. The Class of '78, the Class of '79, and the Class of '80 carry with them memories of life which can nev- er be taken away.
