L'terary events were those such as debating, contest speech, one act plays, slide rule contests, and journalistic contests, as well as typing contests, The one act play wn'ch VH'tes presented was Ha-rvey. Those winning events there went on to the regional meet. The district track meet was held at the same tinne as the literary even's. , Mrs. Caroline Douglass, sponsor ot THE VlCTORlAN and THE STINC-AREE annd-r:ed tre publications' ed'tors for tre l96O-bl school year. Sue Dusek and Pat Bilton wiil serve as editor and assistant ed'tor ot THE VlCTORlAN respectively. Srarron Marshall will head the l96I STINGAREE, and Shelia Stewart will Serve BS assistant editor.
