In and around Windsor, Ford has a particular importance for young people planning careers. Since its small beginnings in 1904, Ford of Canada has drawn upon the classrooms in the Windsor area for many hundreds of its employees. Within its ex¬ pansive plants are to be found promising, useful furures to satisfy a wide variety of ambitions and abilities. Skilled mechanics, office workers, upholsterers, elec¬ tricians, designers, mechanical engineers —each an essential vocation in the automotive industry.
