A g QBV 'VIFLVIN OBERHOLTZERJ URING our four years of high school we have seen four different Pat ricksburg High School basketball teams go through successful sea sons In these four years they have won a total of fifty nine games lost twenty six and tied one game The class of 1933 had representatives on all four teams 1929 1930 NSWERING the call of Coach Jenkins in the fall of 1929 were four Freshmen They were Carl Fulk Raymond Long Mlelvm Oberholtzer and Robert Miller After weeks of practice the coach picked his team We found Carl and Ray mond on the first team 1930 1931 N THE FALL of 1930 there were tour Sophomore candidates namely Carl Fulk Melvin Oberholtzer Raymond Long and Paul Teague Wfhen the race was over we found three Sophomores on the squad They were Carl Raymond and Melvin 1931 1932 positions while Raymond and Harold did their share of substituting These four were the only Junior candidates Melvin and Carl received honor sweaters 1932 1933 NDER our new coach Alfred McCallum we found four Seniors on the team Carl Fulk forward Raymond Long and Melvin Oberholtzer guards xx ere holding regulai nositions while Harold Calahan played reg ular in sexeral games Carl was captaln this year All four Seniors re ceiwed honor sweaters Although our class has few bovs we have given our share to athletlcs 1 5 Q , F1 IN OUR Junior year we saw Carl and Melvin holding down regular guard

Behold' It lS the one and onlv Harold Calahan agent for the Wecheetem Cheetem 8x Com pany taklng orders for fence post holes stove plpe holes and checkered pamt 1Next we see Mlss Gene Maegerlem m the role of head nurse at the Fhppant Flymg Flea Hospltal ID Fleaton As we enter a certaln room Mlss Maegerlem IS carefully dressmg a fractured thlrd fmger on the left hand of Mrs Alexander Almo Albert Alderman Flea and as she xs domg th1S she says the fracture was caused bv Mr Alexander Almo Albert Alderman Flea because he couldn t flnd a weddmg ung large enough for Mrs Alex ander Almo Albert Alderman Flea s fmger So he broke her fmger so that he could put the rmg on xt and marry her' Say whos the classy dame slttmg across from us' Wxth her rolled hose kxss proof hps and that come hlther look ln her eyes land does she know how to wmk'J she should go p'aces Well well well well lf It lsn t Leona Naoml Hlghstepper' CYou know formerly Nellxe Oberholtzerl The last tlme we saw her she was domg the tango m one of Flo Zexgfleld s Follxes Wotta glrl Nell1e And what IS that we see m the dlstance a strawberrle patch?
