The Seniors met and elected the following officers: Harold Calahan .................... President Ruth Curtis .................... Vice-President Gene Maegerlein .................... Secretary Lillian Oberholtzer .................. Tre-asurer This year brought many outstanding events for the Seniors. On Sep- tember 13 the. invitations were selected. On September 16, the class de- cided to wear caps and gowns at the Baccalaureate exercises and Com- mencement. About this time, the publication of an annual was discussed. All the class favored the undertaking if the financial side could be ar- ranged After flgurmg very carefully plans for an annual began to take form The Jewelry was selected and It arrn ed the day before Thanksgiving A volley ball tournament between the four classes was won by the Seniors In order to raise money for class needs the Seniors sold P H S pen cils candy and the school seals which were mherlted from the Seniors of 32 The class attended Senior Day at Indiana State Normal Terre Haute on February 23 All had a very enjoyable time The Seniors gave a play on March 17 and 18 entitled Business Picks Up Baccalaureate SQPVICQS were held Easter Sunday April 16th Rex Swarens was chosen by the class to delner the address The music con sisted of a Cantata given by the Girls Glee club Mr Davidson our honorable principal selected Mr M E Foley an excellent speaker and lawyer of Indianapolis to deliver the Commence ment address on Thursday night April 20th Miss Driftmeyer was the sponsor of this class for all four years of its history So ends the four years of high school for the most industrious class which has ever graduated from Patricksburg High School ik!
