MR. GLENN RUDACILLE, B.A., Randolph - Macon College, teaches Physical Education, coaches all boys ' teams and sponsors the Mon- ogram Club. His coaching, sportsmanship, and understanding make him an ideal coach. MRS. BYRD SCHMIERER, B.S., Longwood Col- lege, teaches Algebra I, Plane Geometry, and sponsors the F.T.A. Her patience and thor- ough teaching methods have won the admira- tion of her students. MR. HARVEY SEAL, B.S., Virginia Polytech- nic Institute, teaches Vocational Agriculture, sponsors the F.F. A. The many awards won by his students show his devotion and interest in his profession. MR. RAY STRUDER, B.A., Virginia Polytech- nic Institute, teaches Bookkeeping, General Business, and coaches boys ' J. V. athletics. His unusual personality and sense of humor make his classes interesting. MRS. ELEANOR TENNY, B.S., Wesleyan Col- lege; M.A., University of West Virginia, teaches Biology, General Science, and sponsors the Science Research Club. Because of her sincer- ity, she is a friend of all the students. MR. FRANK THOMPSON, B.S., University of Maryland, teaches General Science. His in- terest in science stimulates the students ' en- thusiasm in this field. MISS CLARA TILLER, B.S., Madison, teacher of English, enlivens her class with a sense of humor and dramatization of plays. MR. JACK WINN, B.M., R.P.I. , instructs the band and chorus. In his efforts to aid the mu- sical growth of his students, he has proved to be a source of inspiration to them.

MRS. MONA McCLURKIN, B.S., University of Arkansas, teaches English. Her knowledge of literature is a continual source of amaze- ment to her students. MR. CHARLES McKINNEY, B. S. , Massachusetts Institute of Technology, teaches Mechanical Drawing, Physics, Mathematics, and sponsors the Science Club and Projectionists ' Club. His interest in science makes it an intriguing sub- ject. MISS ARSTELLE PRESLEY, B.S., Richmond Pro- fessional Institute, teaches Shorthand and Typ- ing, sponsors the yearbook, and assists with the F.B.L.A. Her pleasing smile and witty” per- sonality make her a favorite with all. MRS. KATHLEEN PUGH, B.A., Flora Mac- donald College, teaches eighth grade Mathe- matics and General Mathematics. Her thor- ough explanations produce good mathematics students. MRS. MARGARET REED, B. A. , Westhampton College; M, A. , University of Richmond, teaches Social Studies and English, and spon- sors the Dramatics Club, Her sincere interest in students, both in and out of classes, helps make her a first rate teacher. MR. FRANK REYNOLDS, B.A., Randolph - Macon College, teaches eighth grade English and French and co-sponsors the Spark. The encouragement and help which he extends to each student is greatly appreciated. MRS. RUTH MOORE, B. A. , Greensboro Col- lege; M. A. , Duke University, teaches World History and English and sponsors the National Honor Society. Her knowledge of English and History is considered a valuable asset. MISS AUDREY NUCKOLLS, B.A., Westhampton College, teaches History and co-sponsors the Citizenship Club and Beta Club. She has added spirit and spice to this school, although she is a newcomer.
