La Marianne Emphasizes French Spirit Among P.H. Students French culture was primarily emphasized at monthly meetings of La Marianne, Patrick Henry's active French club. The high degree of excellence exhibited by both was shown clearly in their Columbia Press Association ratings. LA LIBERTE, a strictly French paper, achieved an award of Superior, while ORATOR, a Latin-English paper, received a First Place Award.
