They are Barbara Dixon, Secretary, Loulie Johnston, Second Vice- - lk l 0 Quill and Scroll Rewards Young Journalists Quill and Scroll, the International Honor Society for High School Journalists, was founded at the University of lowa in l926 by a group of journalism teachers who wished to recognize and reward worthy high school jour- nalists. The purpose of Quill and Scroll is to instill in students the ideal of scholarship, to advance the standards of the journalistic pro- fession, to promote exact and dispassioned thinking. A banquet was held at the Ponce de Leon Hotel at which old members were honored and candidates for membership were initi- ated.
