Patrick Henry students and staff participated in many activities through the year. Some activities, such as football previews and Homecoming, were related to sports. Activities such as Black History Week were intended lo commemorate special events. Yet other events, like Sno-Da e and Sadie Hawkins, were celebrated with one thing in mind — to have FUN! Whatever the reason for these special limes, activities highlighted the year by giving both students and staff a chance to break away from the usual routine and join together to show that true Patriot spirit. T Nica Baird and Karlyn Rosa over looking the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Summer Travels Summer is a lime of work and of relaxation, and it's a time of fun and travel. Many students at Henry did at least one of these activities over the summer before returning to school. Summer was a time for some to make money so they could spend it on things they wanted. For others with less ambition, their idea of a perfect summer was to stay in bed until noon everyday. Over the summer, many other students had fun, some by being active. People got together and went to beaches, stores, and other places. Some traveled in the state going to cabins, resorts, and such. Others went with their families or friends and explored different parts of the world. 6 Summer Travels
