CLASS OF ’78 BRINGS US SOUTH FOR “TOM SAWYER” The Junior Class Play, “Tom Sawyer,” was a big success. This year the play was not only made up of Juniors, but sophomores and freshmen. Part of the reason the play was such a success was that it reminded all who watched it of those happy and carefree days of their past. It was a glimpse into the uncomplicated and romantic days of an age long past, where the steamboat was king of the river and the “wild west” really started at the banks of the Mississippi. (A.) RIVER CITY, IOWA . . This year’s third annual summer musical, “The Music Man,” turned out to be quite a success. The amount of sweat and hard work put into this play was really worth everyone’s while. The play attracted about 900 people over a three day engagement. Many thanks should be given to our own music men, Mr. Sylvester, Mr. Traficante, and Mr. Oakvik, as well as all the students who participated in it. Such representation on Henry’s stage can and will be well looked upon by everyone. (A) The quartet and Marion, played by R.
