Scholars Fulfill Quest The National Honor Society is a group of seniors who maintain a 3.2 average. They were accepted on the basis of their character, leadership, and service to the community and school. Involved in many projects, they collected for UNICEF and Santa Anonymous, visited Senior Citizen Homes, and held a breakfast for our exchange student. Some fun times included tubing down the Apple River and a costume party. These activities helped build a stronger character for their future. 6. Anxious men with outstreched hands hurry Miss Blom along at Lake Rebecca. 7. Newly inducted NHS members have a lesson building character and leadership by Mr. Wm, Miller, 8. An NHS custom, being thrown in, is shunned by those who would rather bask in the sun. 9. Advisor Mr. Carlson oversees the early morning meetings. 10. Enwrapped in an enjoyable conversation, John Schmah has met a new friend. 11. The champ, Mary Jo Welter, attempts to wrestle the notorious apple.

7Z i er Blacks Seek Unity The Minority Student Council sold carmel apples, sponsored the Disco Dance and handled the auditorium for Black History Week in February. They also were in the process of trying to get a White and Black student council organized. While seek to expand interpersonal friend ships within the school, they promoted better relations amon Black students as a whole. 4.
