Art, Home Economics, Industrial Arts The Industrial Arts Department is now set up to fulfill student needs in the industrial world. HEN and a Vocational class have been added as well. hi order to meet the special interests of students while preparing for their future, the Art Department offered a wider range of crafts this year. Differing backrounds and skills of students is cause of the problem in the newly coeducational Home Economics Department. But the results of these classes are interesting with good outcomes.

English, Foreign JK Roberta Bums English Language All is running smoothly now that the English Department has worked out the kinks in the Language Arts course required of all sophomores. Mrs. Savage points out how this course helps the students in all classes. It would be music to the Henry English teachers' ears to hear that teachers in other departments are able to tell those students who have had Language Arts from those who have not. Meanwhile, the Foreign Language Department is offering an Exploratory Language course. Tins course gives the student a brief insight into the German and Spanish way of thinking, life styles, and why they do what they do. The study of a foreign language not only teaches the student a different language, but also gives him a better understanding of his own language. A
