Sweet Apple USA Bye Bye Birdie Last summer a new tradition was started when Henry presented its first summer play, BYE BYE BIRDIE. The play centered around the small town of Sweet Apple where Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, bid an all American teenage girl good-bye with an All-American kiss before being inducted into the army. This is when the quiet little town goes into an uproar; from Kim's envious girlfriend and their jealous boy-friends to the determined Spanish Rose.
