Miss Winifred Hultcrantz, dean of girls, and Mr. Ronald Barnes, dean of boys, help Henry students to believe in themselves as responsible members of the little democracy that is their high school. The deans seek continually to improve public relations between school and community by working with parents and students in helping to resolve student problems. Mr . France Zeglen, Visiting Teacher, i the student' confidential adviser and often a visitor to their home . Mr . Christine Carlson, K'hool nurse, watches over the health of the student , advise them in matter of physical welfare. The Henry high school office is the sending and receiving center of all school activity. Schultz, principal of Patrick Henry high school, is a man whom students and teachers know to he scrupulously fair, unfailingly kind, and warmly understanding. Whenever a student or teacher approaches him, obviously to ask a favor, Mr. Schultz says cheerily: The answer is NO. What can I do for you? Usually the answer is YKS, if the granting of the request will Ixmcfit the school. No high school principal ever worked harder to make his school the center of community life and to guide the growth of students in becoming citizens who have learned to love their neighbors as themselves. Once upon a time, a man's photograph was retouched until it became only a reasonable facsimile of his actual appearance.
