HU CHUM Here I am for my annual appearance . . . Gee! Have I ever been knocked around . . . Why say, you’re lucky to see me at all ... I almost didn't make it . . . Just as I was floating on air, looking forward to our meeting, Mr. Porter let the wind out of my cloud with an absolute NO!!! ... It looked as if my mortal life was ended before it began . . . and gee. what a gloomy joint . . . Seniors sob . . . School mopes . . . But wait! . . . What’s this? ... A ray of hope . . . Mr. Anderson is willing . . . Flash! A special bulletin ... If Seniors get behind it. an annual will be attempted . . . Then they threw a staff together . . . When I peeked, I had my DOUBTS . . . Room 31 I was strangely buzzing . . . Now it looked like I was to become a material being at long last . . . Miss Harlow was swamped with subscriptions . . . Boy! Am I popular . . . But there is one thing missing . . . That STUPID staff must have forgotten something ... As yet I haven't a THEME ...
