What Happ B hind th ffice Door . Only the secretaries know Walking through the maze of offices and paper covered desks, you spotted happy faces with friendly smiles. Of course these smiles belonged to the members of the office staff who love their jobs. Although sometimes faced with unauthorized visitors, furious par- ents, and lost students, Mrs. Linda Jones, a five year veteran here, had managed to keep a smile on her face. My job is never the same routine. lt varies from day to clayf' Being at the front desk, Mrs. Jones' job dealt with giving out a lot of general information, As your journey continued on the other side of the educational system, the next smiling face belonged to Mrs. Ina Denny, an attendance secretary who has been here sev- en years. She had worked at other schools including Lewis Junior High and thinks we are the best school in the district. Most of the students here were very nice from what she H-E-N-R-Y Peck peck go the keys. We have gotten so many excuses for tardies and truancies we've heard them all.
