Hanging Around Administrators Spare Time Did you ever wonder what they did after school? Go home and plan the next day, or maybe stay here all night long? Although they seemed very busy every time you went into the office, their minds may have been on their spare time hobbies. Vice Principal Fran- cisco Gamboa enjoyed cooking ' '... a little bit of everything. At the age of seven, he ll little bit of everything. baked his first cake by scratch, and has been cooking ever since then. Counselor Paul Bernd enjoyed riding his bicycle - as you can see from the group picture. Vice Princi- pal Jeanette Kramer's . . . greatest joy . , . was her granddaughter, Suzanne. Any time l can spend with her is choice time, said Kramer. She also enjoys ' '... the symphony, opera . . . and bridge. As a counselor, James Clark felt that our school was made of U who's here, not what's heref' He was one of those who's that enjoyed a variety of pastime activities. Looking into his office, the first thing noticed was a huge picture of an airplane. UI hang around the airport a lot, said Clark. As well as enjoying airplanes, Clark was into photog- raphy, and . . . grew up in a house with a darkroom. Therefore, this seemed to be his favorite way to spend his spare time. He also took pictures on trips with the Sierra Club, which was . . . dedicated to the preserva- tion of nature. Acting as a teacher, he helped people with their photography in such . . . glorious classrooms . . . as the East Sierras. All of the things he liked to do seemed to be captured on film. Pictures of wildlife and airplanes covered the walls and calendars in his office. Because of the variety of things he enjoyed, Clark thought it was Sometimes too many . . . But this seemed to add to his ability to relate with students as a counselor. 278 Administration!Staff ' Q
