The look at least was dampened, usual- ly leaning more towards distressed. Why, though? Why didn't people like Mondays? Supposedly, they are new beginningsg however, most students such as Mitch Hughes, maintained the ll onda y meant kissin' the weekend goodbye. ,n-'N -fr '-4? t .J , x.x' 'Z F W-5' fs w , .6 an K --1 t f it JUN I 465 opposite view, Mitch stated that, 'Monday was the day you opened the milk carton, and it says 'Open at other end '. Murphy's Laws were written just for Mondays. lt was the day you forgot your essay, the day you drove into Lake Henry and your car battery died, and the day to have cavities filled. Mon- days were just, Hblah days as one sen- ior put it. As the most depressing day of the week, we always had '4blue weather. Besides this, Mondays meant getting up before the sun, rushing and not be- ing late.
