The look at least was dampened, usual- ly leaning more towards distressed. Why, though? Why didn't people like Mondays? Murphy's Laws were written just for Mondays. lt was the day you forgot your essay, the day you drove into Lake Henry and your car battery died, and the day to have cavities filled. Mon- days were just, Hblah days as one sen- ior put it. As the most depressing day of the week, we always had '4blue weather. Besides this, Mondays meant getting up before the sun, rushing and not be- ing late.
