All agreed they were proud to learn they were Valedictori- ans. 'Alt was a goal of mine, it was always in the back of my mind, stated Carol Steftens who plays the violin and piano. Matt McPherson said, Ml don't think l would have done so well in school without band. Music has really been the biggest part of school. All agreed, the most important thing about valedictorian was their own, person- al satisfaction, not what others thought. The difference l've found between playing at home and being part of the orchestra is that now that l've played with an orchestra, I know l'll pursue music in the future, stated Harriet Wingard.
