The Senior Dues Card has been a prac- tical tradition at Henry for many years. However, this year's Senior Class found many reasons to discontinue the dues cards. There were two main reasons that the cards originated. Most important of the two is that it, as Senior Class Officer, Athena Delimitros, explained, put mon' ey into the Senior bank account. which made it possible to put down-payments on the many senior activities. Secondly, it provided the Seniors with a modest dis- count on events such as the prom. However, the Senior Class Cabinet found the need for the Senior Dues Cards obsolete. One of the major differences was the change of location of the Senior Prom. The Prom, held at Sea World for the first time, was double the price of what the prom cost in previous years. Athena stat- ed, 'iThe Seniors would not have saved a significant amount of money, and the total price of the card would have been an out- rageous expensef, For these reasons Sen- iors had to purchase their yearbook, Prom bid, and Senior luncheon tickets separate- ly.
