The 1978-79 Marching Patriots glided through the season with hard work and dedication. The band represented Henry in the Columbus Day Parade, Autumn Band Review, Camarillo Winter Parade, and the first annual Holiday Bowl. In addition to parades, the band performed at pre-game and half-time shows. The Symphonic and Concert bands, under the direction of Gary Stollsteimer received ratings of superior and excellent on the district and regional festival levels.
