Soph, Attendants Debbie Riley 8: Bruce Griggs The pick of the chick Did you hear the one about . . . END QF A DECADEU Patrick Henry celebrated its tenth Homecoming on November 4. The game was preceded by a fantastic parade led by the Air Force Color Guard. The game was officially kicked-off when hundreds of green 8: gold balloons were released in front of the home stands. All three classes entered floats this year, and there was also a float by the Key Club. They were built around the theme Patrick Henry Salutes: 10 years of Memories . The Iunior Class did the best job in building theirs, so they received the perpetual trophy and points for their class in the class competition. Half-time was high-lighted by the crowning of Michelle Millsap and Kyle Lanz, and by the appearance of the KGB Chicken. Last year's queen Kelly Mickelson returned to crown Michelle. There was also a surprise during the sec- ond quarter when an airplane flew over the stadium carrying the banner: Homecoming '77 Patriots iii . The band and drill team did their usual great job entertaining everyone, and the cheerleaders, with the help of alumni cheer- leaders, got everyone to cheer for the game. This was the best Homecoming Pat- rick Henry has ever had. Thanks to all the people who worked hard to make it so memorable.
