V vi if N wolf' , milf' f A E Pride, hard work and outstanding athletes demonstrated to be the formula for the most successful water polo team in Patrick Henry's history. Early season concerns were the lack of varsity experience and size. These doubts were soon set aside when the poloists began the season with an impressive string of big wins. With great team speed, outstanding ball handling and aggressive athletes, the team compiled a 10-2 league record and a second place finish, and a T8-6 season record which resulted in a fourth place finish in C.l.F. Outstanding performances came from Rollin Dixon-Team Captain, First Team All-League and Second Team All-C.l.F. Goalie .lay Meyer was voted most valuable player by his team- mates and was also Eastern League Co- Player of the Year-Eastern League First Team and C.l.F. second team. Robert Strong was also a first team Eastern League selection. Bob Kunce and Bill Ireland were elected to the second All-League team. All in all this season was rewarding in many ways and the returning players are looking forward to next year. Rollin Dixon Water Polo Captain I.
