CGME T0 THE FAIR I 'lfzn. S l What's Patrick Henry all about? That was the question new principal Frank Thornton at- tempted to answer when he initiated a Cur- riculum Fair for the first time on our campus. For the benefit of the incoming Sophomores and the entire community, a two day exposi- tion of all the various departments at school were displayed in the gym. For the first at- tempt, the talents and enthusiasm of the staff and students were out for all concerned to see. lt was a most successful venture. 4 SPRI G SPIRIT The final rally of the year put on display some of Patrick Henry's finest. Besides honoring the athletes participating in all spring sports, the rally included routines by the Liberty Belles and some great music by the Patriot Jazz Band. As per usual there were skits and cheers by the varsity and J.V. Cheerleaders and audience participation. lt was a fun way to say goodby and was an emotional occa- sion ending with the singing of the alma ma- ter. l. The Liberty Belles get things rolling. 2. Let's ask Scotty, he'll smoke anything! 3. Play it again Sam 4, Uh, ungowa, Henry's got the power! 5. Thanks for the memories 6. J.V. says farewell 44 Student Life

NCE UPON A DREAM This year the Children's Theatre class, under the direction of Mr. Larry Trouba, achieved a highly unprecedented success. Starting out the year with a tour of the local elementary schools, the class's tremen- dous enthusiasm was brought to the first show of the season, ONCE UPON A DREAM. Filled with many of your favorite story-book charac- ters, such stories as PETER RABBIT, PYRAMUS AND THISBIE, and THE MAD HATTER were brought to life before a young, but enthusiastic audience. After finishing a unit on clownology and touring the schools, the second semester was marked by the very successful TOM SAWYER, which played to a near capacity audience each perfor- mance. lt can be said that this was truly the year for Children's Theatre at Patrick Henry.
