The maior goal of the science department has always been one of striving tor excellence: not only in terms of increasing mental abili- ties, but, also to prepare students for success in college, as well as, understanding science as it relates to their everyday lite. MUSICALLY DRAMATIC wir 'ikry Michael Auer Robert Keller 'iw xi it it 1 llzlll S Gary Stollsteimer Auer by Hour Larry Trouba Vocal Music has three strong performing groups- Girls Chorus, Choir, and Bel Canto Singers. All groups actively participated in concerts throughout the year. Bel Canto Singers is a honor group that leads off one of the strongest choral departments in the country. The Music Department had a new twist to it this year. Mr, Gary Stollsteimer has taken over this department and has really done a fan- tastic iob with the Marching Patriots, Symphonic Band and the Jazz Band. He is really a credit to this department and the school. Advanced Drama Production of Patrick Henry performs three major productions a year. Another performing class is the Childrens Theatre- that presents two productions a year. Both groups work in unison to present a successful theatre repertoire for the past year. Faculty 293
