38 - Activites M OODS OF DANCE Dance Production Class is a performing group that presents two regular programs at Patrick Henry, a Fall and Spring program. Many of the dances performed are created by the dancers. The dance production class actively participate in community performances. This year they were asked to perform in a Youth Concert sponsored by Project Yes. also at the Gage P.T.A. Founder's Day Celebration and the San Diego City School Art Festival. The dancers perform in traditional. modern. jazz and theater dance styles. Many hours of technique are spent everyday learning these different styles in preparation for performances. Mrs. Weikel

Throughout the past there has been a tradition at Patrick Henry High that the mighty teachers have always dominated this annual contest against the seniors. This year the seniors came out playing with such complete finesse that they took a 28-26 overtime victory: overcoming the previously unbeaten, but now over-the-hill teachers. Leading the seniors were such players as John Cylke and Ron Forbes at the guards, Mike Boblit and Ed Sullivan at the forwards, and playing the post position, having a tenatious night on defense Mike Pinky Milner. Coming off the bench John Neuenswander led all scorers. Playing for the Over the Hill Gang Dave Bassett, Sam Turner. Bob Litchfield, Dougy Dannevik, Garth DeFelice. Bob Shaughessy. and Paul Zetts.
