xuiimcafix ? Life With Father, the very successful second Drama Production was set in the Victorian Period of the late 1880's. The play is a lighthearted comedy centering around the father, who with his strict mannerisms tries to get out of being baptized to the discontentment of his wife, He plans the life of his wife and children in terms of his own piece of mind- the dominant male who is always two jumps behind the scattered interests of his wife. and the normal giddiness of his four growing children. In spite of the upmost goodwill between members of the family. things are always getting out of hand and disturbing the even tenor of father's expectations. The humor was sly. the tone was gay, and the characters were dynamite! Cast members included Clayton Moore and Michelle Guisti as the father and mother, with Dean Weichel, Mike Usey, Jo Ann Hoye. Sue Schaffner. and Gaylynn Gastelum completing the family. The rest of the cast included Gigi Gumrukcu, Nancy Groth. and Kathy Davis as visiting relatives: David Daniels as the Reverend: Colleen Murphy as the cook: Andre Wood and Eric Abegglen as the doctors:and Chelli Coulter, Terry Clark and Jenni Hesse completing the cast as the maids. WK. Gigi Grumrukcu as Cousin Cora listens to a family argument.

38 - Activites M OODS OF DANCE Dance Production Class is a performing group that presents two regular programs at Patrick Henry, a Fall and Spring program. Many of the dances performed are created by the dancers. The dance production class actively participate in community performances. This year they were asked to perform in a Youth Concert sponsored by Project Yes. also at the Gage P.T.A. Founder's Day Celebration and the San Diego City School Art Festival. The dancers perform in traditional. modern. jazz and theater dance styles. Many hours of technique are spent everyday learning these different styles in preparation for performances. Mrs. Weikel
