Lies Waiting Maybe he’s tired of playing basketball but John Clanton sure likes those pompoms. At long last a flight is over, that of a group of 250 seniors from Patrick County. For the majority of us, it ' s been eighteen years here in the county, surrounded by others we’ve known for that long. Those who ' ve joined us from distant places, have eventually fitted right into the same mold with the rest of us, picking up the accent to go along with the rest. After that fateful day in June, much will change in our futures. There are those who will leave and never return. Whatever the future, holds, there will always be that one part of our life which we have all shared together. May the class of 1978 forever remember that. Cherish Yesterday ” Planning a revenge? Lamar Howell, Alicia Mas sie, Jenny Penn, and Karen Thompson look as if outsiders aren’t welcome. Meanwhile, Evalene Hatcher seems lost in another world. Bonnie Bowman and Cindy Bingman have a laugh between classes. New fashions, as usual, seem to attract just about everyone.
