Besides voting for their motto, blue and silver were chosen as the senior colors and daisies and babies breath as the flower. Danny Smith and Stacy Handy were chosen as the graduating class’ mascots. The room mothers, voted on by the seniors, became a great help at graduation time. They became the cooks at the senior picnic and volunteered their service at the graduation party. Junior Marshals A great deal of hard work has gone into these last five gears of school for all serious seniors. The achievement of upstanding grades has been uppermost in many minds. Those that worked hardest were rewarded by having the honor of being named as a junior marshal. Last gear the fifteen juniors with the highest averages were chosen for this elite group. The Junior Marshals are responsible for conducting the graduation ceremony and this gear, one of these students will be valedictorian of their graduating class.
