The 21st annual Miss Patrick County Beauty Pageant was held May 3, 1972 in the Patrick County High School audi¬ torium. That night 39 lovely girls awaited the decision of the judges. Miss Carol Blackard, a junior, from Dry Pond was later crowned by Miss Jennifer Thomas, the former Miss Patrick County.
