This year, more than any other year, we have tried to stress the theme of citizenship - Celebration of Citizenship. Many of you have been chosen Citizen of the Month. Not just you who have excelled well with grades but to you who have been dependable, cooperative, trustworthy, and considerate of others. We congratulate you. YOU can make a difference in your school and YOU can make a difference in the world. As Americans enjoying citizenship in a free country we have the privilege of four freedoms - freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Many of us have not yet learned the preciousness of these freedoms. As Christians, we also have another freedom e freedom from sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Another citizenship e in that Eternal City e Heaven. With the celebration of the Bicentennial of the Constitution of the United States, may we the people pledge our allegiance to our country and to our God. Helen L.
