CAMERA CLUB HOUSEHOLD ARTS CLUB FOOTLIGHTS CI UB Besides giving girls the chance to improve their bowling skill, the GIRLS' BOWLING CLUB affords Eastside's Misses a chance to meet new friends and gather in an informal and leisurely manner. Those girls meeting on the school's campus and discharging their arrows at targets are not Woman Defense Volunteers, but rather the GIRLS, ARCI-IERY CLUB, which is advised by Miss Dorothy Ward. Composed of underclassmen, the CURRENT EVENTS CLUB tours civic buildings and factories, under the supervision of Mrs. Williams. Barbara Trotter headed the LATIN CLUB, a group which once a term edits a newspaper, The Tuba . Organized to help the student learn more about contemparary art, the ART CLUB is advised by Mrs. Lyle. Greatly aiding Paterson's civic institutions was the COMMUNITY CHEST JUNIOR SPEAKERS' BUREAU, which was headed this semester by Janet White. The group spoke before various meetings and student bodies in an effort to secure support for the Community Chest drive. Advised by Mr. Morris Waldstein, the SCIENCE WORKSHOP has carried on many experimental programs. The INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CLUB discusses current world problems. Mr. Sedlatchek advises the organization. The PAN AMERICAN CLUB publishes a newspaper called 'QPan Americana. The RIDING CLUB holds meetings at the Garret Mountain Reservation. THE ,3!lK!Fl5fn?iV
