ITAllAN CLUB LEADERS,CLUB By its presentation of Circus Revelsn, a program of diversilied entertainment, the TALENT CLUB proved its Worth by introducing a host of new performers to these portals. Mrs. S. Kobre supervises the work of the COMMERCIAL CLUB which ac- quaints its members with the conditions and activities of the business World. One of its newest developments is the tutor system, enabling the poorer students to receive help from the club members. This active group, organized about seven months ago, is limited to members of Miss Durbin's English 4, S and 6 classes of two years ago. As the name implies, the group holds informal get-to- gethers and participates in varied activities. Once again the MAJCRETTES and FLAG TWIRLERS have added color and spirit to the football games, Where they have impressed hundreds of visitors, before the beaming eyes of Mr. Ray Dutcher. A il W . fllvlljllfw Wi SPEECH CLUB CLUB Eastside's RED CROSS CLUB has been making and presenting Christmas bas- kets to charitable institutions, making collections of discarded clothes for the needy, and similar charitable work. Co-captained by Louis Hammond and Doris Upton, the CHEERLEADERS helped arouse school spirit at the athletic events. Holding parties, educational trips or talks and providing necessary items for the poor children have taken up much time of the HOUSEHOLD ARTS CLUB. The EOOTLIGHTS CLUB attempts to train underclassmen in speech and to develop poise. A schoolwide tourney, won by Wilson Witten, was sponsored by the HORSESHOE CLUB, which is headed by Art Scolari and advised by Mr. Henry Rumana. Ciro Zoppo, Catherine Esperi, John Giovalto and Mary Calabresc lead the MUSIC APPRECIATION
