Though by no means a softie. he enjoys licking an ice cream cone. Shop was his most enjoyed high school subject. His variety of hobbies include his girl friend. sports and seeing popular bands. TAKTIKOS ' On Independence Day, 1924, was born one whose ambition now is to be the best aeronautical engineer. After commencement 'aTally,, yslp-lans to work for a higher education and lists baseball as his hobby. Measuring 5'7 tall, his favorite period is lunch, while Sammy Kaye, Bret Harte, and ice cream reign in their respective fields. ARTHUR TATZ r Arthur aspires to be a baseball manager, only not of the Brook- lyn Dodgers but the New York Giants. Arthur is known as Mel Ottw to his friends partly because of his love for the Giants and partly because of his muscular build. Active in all sports, he was a member of the track team and also belonged to the Student Council. Art is a follower of HSuperman and Vaughn Monroe, A FRANCIS THEUERHOLZ Une of the many six footers in this graduating class is this blond, blue-eyed. likeable fellow. Tall HFrank devoted his spare time in school to the Student Council. Outside of school this Tommy Dor- sey fan found pleasure in all sports. His leaning toward Nanythingi' in the line of food was further borne out in his choice of a favorite subject-lunch. Frank is a future mechanical draftsman.

CARMEN SOTTOLANO Vocational school will be Carmen's next goal after completing high. His real ambition is to get a job, a good one. He prefers steak to any other meat, in fact, to any other food. Edgar Allan Poe's Wllhe Cat's Pawn is the book he has most enjoyed reading. Under the heading of hobbies come baseball, football, roller skating, and bas- ketball. History was an easy course as far as this Vaughn Monroe fan was concerned. 4 THERESA SPANO We have a mystery-st 'y fan in our midst. Tess reads the famous S. S. Van Dine and Mary Roberts Rhinehart stories. This miss, who has been on the Student Council, listens to Sammy Kaye while DMM munching sour apples and corn. ,Reading, skating and collecting pictures rank high with this brown-eyed, black-haired maiden who wants uto travel and be happyn. A g v A LOTTE STOBEZKI y 46Lot has an interesting and humane ambition: she wants to be a useful member of the human family. Her hobbies are numerous and include stamps, reading, keeping a scrapbook and a diary, ping pong, saving Criterions and South American and classical music. Lotteflwasfa recipient of a silver P and is a candidate for a gold fofne. Her favorite subject was music. EARL SUGARMAN Sugv really is ambitious-he wants to be head chemist of the Du Pont chemical Works. Steak and French-fried potatoes rate highly with this chemistry enthusiast. When his high school days are over he will attend N. Y. U. and work. Earl has participated in the ac- tivities of the Dramatic Society and the Senior Mirror. His spare time is divided among basketball, football, chemistry, and listening to the music of Jimmy Dorsey. 'v 5,

ANGELO TRAMENTOZZI Casey Jones School of Aeronautics is the desired destination of '4Trame after he leaves the portals of Eastside, where history ranked highest in his list of favorite subjects. Glenn Miller and Gone With the Wind are favorites with this would-be aviation mechanic who enjoys building model aeroplanes in his spare time.
