L ST WILL AND TESTAME T We the Seniors of Patch Grove High School of the Town and Township of Patch Grove, County of Grant, State of Wisconsin, of the United States, on the Continent of North America in the Western Hemisphere, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, execute, publish, and declare this to be our last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all former Wills by us made. I, Dale Braudt, give and devise to you Milton Ellis my ability to call square dances. I, Francys Hayungs, bequeath my ability to get in late at night to anyone who can do it and not get caught. I, Kenneth Garside, will my height to you, Joe Zenz, and hope you can use it for the best advantage of our basketball team. I, Leah Rae Jones, will my ability to pierce ears to Terry Monroe in hopes he'll use it in his future doctor's career. I, Carol Redman, bequeath my knitting ability to Bernard Meister in hopes he can use it in the future. I, Mary Moore, will my naturally curly hair to Judy Sobota so she can spend less time setting hers. I, Russell Palmer, will my ability to play the guitar to Earl Hayungs. I, Lyle Posten, leave no Janice Ariss my ability to ride horses. I, Nola Mae Finn, bequeath to Robert Hromadka all the musical instruments I've learned to play while in high school. I, James Noethe, will my ability to get excused from school to Larry Moris. I, Jerry Redman, bequeath to Jim Tolle my nickname Goof , I, Leonard Meister, bequeath my tinyness to Robert Williams. I, Emma Jean Fuller, will the gum I chewed in Typing Class to you, Mrs. Tornowske. I, Rita Hamilton, will my 6th period visiting hour to you, Barbara Skrade, and hope you can collect as much gossip as I did. We, the Seniors, will to you Mr. Thompson, all our unsolved problems in Mathematics and Science. To you, Miss Humphrey, the Senior girls leave their knitting needles and knowledge of calisthenics. We, the Seniors, have packed up all our dischordant notes, which we will take with us. All our beautiful music we will and bequeath to Mr, La Pointe. To you, Mrs. Tornowske, we leave the word ain't and memories of The Beaver . We, the Seniors, give, devise and bequeath to you Mr. Sobota all interruptions for telephone conversations and salesmen during our Social Problems Class. We leave to the under classmen I4 empty desks near the windows in the Assembly. SENIOR PROPHECY June 18, 1965 Dear Carol, Everyone was sorry you weren't able to return for our class reunion and picnic. We spent an almost perfect day at the Garside Gardens , just I0 miles west 'of Madison, Wis. You knew of course, that Kenny was owner and manager of this beautiful 50 acre resort. In the aftemoon the men played a round of golf but it was an easy victory for Dale Braudt. Just think, after three years he still holds the title of World's champion Golfer , Nola Mae arrived a little late from the Belgian Congo where she is teaching the natives how to play the cello. She says she enjoys her work immensely and after being there for two years she is getting adjusted to the climate. Leonard Meister drove up from Indianapolis, Ind. , where he recently won the speedway race. Yes, he is in the big money now because as a side line he manufactures baby bottles. Fran and her family arrived quite early. Did I tell you before that she married Joseph McCarthy's brother, Charlie? They live in New Orleans where they own and operate an oyster farm. Jim Noethe was enjoying his month's vacation from the office. He has had several of his essays printed in the l-long Kong Herald. fl-le always wrote such interesting articles in English, remember? 2 PU Last year he won the Pulitzer Prize on the essay, The Relationship Between the Fly and the Maggot. Russ Palmer recently completed a two year engagement with the Ridge Riders . In August he will continue his music with the Phil Harmonic Symphony. Even in high school I know he preferred classical music. He didn't mention anything about his singing, but I imagine he'll continue giving lessons to Marie. Mary Moore has been kept quite busy. After mining uranium in Canada for seven years, she has finally settled on a farm near Patch Grove. lwwrote you fefore that Emma Jean Fuller was in the Ozarks demonstrating the Many Uses of a Burnt Out Light Bulb . She must be doing quite well as she sported a '65 Brick at the picnic. It was her first trip back after spending five years there. We have another teacher in the classl Lyle Posten is doing quite well in Alaska. He's been busy with those seals nigh on these eight years. My how time does flyl I 1 It seems they should learn to balance that ball pretty soonl Leah left her laboratory long enough to join us for our dinner, She was restless though, as her every spare minute is spent on her latest experiment. She wouldn't reveal much information: but splitting a pea must be quite a task. We were ready to start our feast when a helicopter landed on the lawn. We recognized the oil millionaire from Texas as soon as he stepped from the machine. Yes, Jerry Redman is certainly proving his business ability. Our picnic was a huge success. We missed you though. I didn't mention It before but every class- mate brought his family. I am still teaching in 'a small country school just outside Paris, France. Our picnic was a good excuse for me to be able to come back for a visit. Say, Carol, why don't you settle down? After all don't you think that six years of bull fighting is enough for any person?
