Senior Class History In the fall of 1947 fourteen students enrolled as Freshmen. At our first class meeting we had election of officers. Paul Moris was elected Presidentg Gilbert Key, Vice-President, Marjorie Hermsen, Secretary, and Margaret O'Connor, Treasurer. Norma Govier represent- ed our class on the Student Activity Fund Committee. Miss Humphrey was our class advisor. Joetta McCartney left our class because of difficulty in getting to school and Jackie Key because of a serious case of pink eye, which left twelve Freshmen. In the school year of 1948 and 1949 there were eleven enrolled as Sophomores. Gilbert Key acted as President, Paul Moris, Vice- Presidentg and Margaret O'Connor, Secretary and Treasurer. David Gratz left Patch Grove High to attend Prairie du Chien High School. In our Junior year of 1949-1950, Darleen Pitzer joined our class which again made us eleven. At our election of officers Paul Moris was elected Presidentg Gilbert Key, Vice-President, and Darleen Pitzer, Secretary and Treasurer. On April 14, 1950, we gave the annual Junior Prom. Our theme was nStar Dustn and Paul Moris and Margaret O'Connor reigned as king and queen. The Seniors of 1950 and 1951 were again eleven. Darleen Pitzer left our class to become Mrs. Burdett Hale and Wilma Edge from Mt. Hope joined our class. Paul Moris was again elected President with Marjorie Hermsen acting as Vice-President, and Margaret O'Connor as Secretary and Treasurer. We are sponsoring the HBeaverH yearbook this year for Patch Grove High School. Norma Govier was elected Editor, Loren Feakes, Assistant Editor, Margaret O'Connor, Business Manager and Marjorie Hermseng Class Editor. Paul Moris and Gilbert Key were elected Sports Editors. On September 29 we went to Dodgeville to have our Senior pictures taken. We received them just before Christmas. On December 22, 1950, we held our annual HHoliday Dancen. In the second week in January, Dick Ward left our class to join the United States Air Borne. On May 24, 1951 our Graduation exercises will be held in the New Gym and so the end has come to our many happy years at Patch Grove High School. ll

O J umors JOE IIBIR DALE HARRIS Junior Class History In 1948 three members enrolled in the Freshman class. They were Sydney Weigel, Dale Harris, and Joe Weber. The officers were: President, Sydney Weigel, Secretary, Joe Weber, Treasurer, Dale Harris. The Sophomore class opened with the same pupils enrolled. The officers were: President, Dale Harris, Secretary and Treasurer, Sydney Weigel. Student Council Representative was Joe Weber. At the end of the first semester Delbert Brandon enrolled in our class. Later on he quit school. The Junior year opened with Joe Weber and Dale Harris as the only pupils. Sydney Weigel had moved to Oregon. President was Joe Weber and Dale Harris acted as Secretary and Treasurer.
