FOREWORD We, the Class of l958, in order to preserve the ideals of freedom, fought for so diligently by the many veterans and heroic dead during past wars and conflicts, use freedom as the theme of this yearbook. Although we of the United States do not fully appreciate our liberties and freedoms, we still are aware that the United States is a wonderful country and we indeed are fortunate to be living here. People in many countries of the world are hoping and praying with all their hearts that they may live as we do today. While we in this country are striving to further the advances of science and industry, many freedom-seeking peoples throughout the world are attempting to overthrow their autocratic form of V . .
