The experts are unanimous in expressing their appreciation of the work and the enthusiasm that has gone into the Annual. We hope it is a tre- mendous success and wish to extend the best of luck to all the Seniors who are about to graduate, Sincerely yours, Information, please? Can you tell me where I am? Why, on the first page of the Echo, This edition belongs to the l94l class. What is the 'Echo ? Oh, that's easy. lt's a diary of all the good times the graduates have had during their four years in high school. Just wait till you see the activity section, just crammed with news about our clubs! You'Il never be able to forget our victory over Rutherford in the Thanksgiving game-the write-up is right on the football page. That reminds me: There are some fine pictures in this Echo -and lots of them, too. Why not turn the pages and take a look at our l94l seniors as they appeared to the photographer-dignified and seIf-conscious- and as you've known them-studious or care- free.

PRINCIPAL OLLO A. KENNEDY B.A. Amherstg M.A. Columbia HERE is a new emphasis on all school activity this year. We are urged to strengthen our courses in Physical Education and Vocational work as an aid to National Defense. The pro- posed outcome is to have a bet- ter fundamental physical and mental preparedness for our democratic society. It is hard to distinguish be- tween what is tundamental and sound and what is just a tem- porary expedient in our nation- al progress. The only way to solve our problems is to try continually tor improvement. HEADS CDF ERT L. BLAKESLEE HILDA E, cHiLsoN O D HAGREN ELS l M A.
