She sponsors the AFS Club and has been at Paseo 6 years. In her spare time, Miss Schaller, participates in the Philatic Society, Burroughs Nature Club, and church vvork. Miss Schaller also en- joys traveling. She taught in U.S. Army Dependents Schools in Heidelberg, Germany in 1946-47 and revisited the country in 1967, of lhe pirate crew MRS. Although Mr. Curtis is new to many of us, he is not new to Paseo. For the last 5 years. Mr. Curtis has served as Principal of Van Horn. Prior to this, he was Vice-Principal at Paseo for 4 years, For 3 years previous to this, he was Vice-Principal at Van Horn, Mr. Curtis has also had experi- ence in teaching at East, Manual. and Northeast Jr. Mr. Curtis holds a M.A. and has attended C.M.S.C., U.M,K.C,,Washington University, and the University of Minnesota. Mr. Curtis' philosophy of education is this: To try to provide the most effective, most current education possible for all students in light of industrial and personal needs.
